Midwest Carriers Opens New Headquarters, Expands Services and Staff

Midwest Carriers doesn’t encourage speeding on the road, but all our employees worked in high gear to open our new headquarters.

We’ve always been focused on growth, and with three locations in the Fox Valley plus our affiliation with freight carrier Osborn Trucking (www.osborntrucking.com) in Fond du Lac, it was time to bring everyone together into one building. The new building makes it easier to work as one team and offers more amenities to our employees, especially our drivers.

We’re already experiencing increased momentum from the move and are looking to add 10-15 regional/OTR drivers to meet demand. We also recently partnered with Penske to provide truck and trailer maintenance at the new facility six days a week to keep our fleet running smoothly.

“The new headquarters is the latest investment in our driver-focused culture and some amenities also benefit our logistics and support staff,” said President Eric Van Handel. “We designed the new space with our employees in mind and want them to feel a sense of pride and comfort in it.”

New Location Offers 24/7 Access to Driver Amenities

The new location at 2600 Buchanan Street in Kaukauna is just off Interstate US 41. It offers 24/7 access to:

  • Driver’s lounge, featuring a shower room, laundry, kitchenette, big screen TVs and quiet nap rooms.
  • Covered truck wash bay that’s heated, allowing our drivers to get out of the elements to wash their truck and perform other preventative maintenance.
  • Concrete parking with full lighting and cameras for safety.

We’re Hiring Regional/OTR Drivers!

Midwest Carriers also pays more than other Wisconsin-based freight carriers, offers a better health insurance plan than most carriers and has transition pay to allow drivers to change jobs with minimal financial impact to their pocketbook. Learn more and apply today.

“We encourage all drivers to check us out,” Van Handel said. “You’ll see that we mean it when we say we empower and invest in the people who drive us forward.”
